Series: Elemental #1

Becca Chandler is suddenly getting all the guys; all the ones she doesn't want. Ever since her ex-boyfriend spread those lies about her. Then she saves Chris Merrick from a beating in the school parking lot. Chris is different. Way different: he can control water just like his brothers can control fire, wind, and earth. They're powerful. Dangerous. Marked for death.

And now that she knows the truth, so is Becca.

Secrets are hard to keep when your life's at stake. When Hunter, the mysterious new kid around school, turns up with a talent for being in the wrong place at the right time, Becca thinks she can trust him. But then Hunter goes head-to-head with Chris, and Becca wonders who's hiding the most dangerous truth of all.

The storm is coming.

I knew I was gonna love it I mean four hot brothers? Umm, yes please!

Storm is that it's unlike anything I've ever read. Okay partly since I have read Carrier of the Mark. But in this book, there's four hot brothers who can control the elements. Michael with Earth, the twins Gabriel and Nick with fire and air, and then there's Chris with water. Storm is told in dual POVs. Chris and Becca. Becca is first introduced when she saved Chris from a fight. Later on the guys who beat up Chris thinks that Becca is somehow involved with them -even though she's not ... yet.

I loved the whole concept Brigid Kemmerer had with the whole elements. There's many people who falls in this circle of the elements but not on the points where they can actually hardcore control it -except for the Merrick brothers of course. And if they do lie on a point, there's these people called The Guides who kill the pure elements but not the fifths who can basically control every element.

When there's five guys and one girl in this book there has to be some teasing and drama going around. Right after Becca takes Chris home, Michael, the oldest brother, goes all overprotecting which kinda made him annoying to me. I loved the twins so much! Gabriel has this snarky, sarcastic attitude that I just love and the things he say is hilarious. Nick is the opposite of Gabriel. He's kind, quiet, and the brother who keeps everything balanced and peace. Other than the brothers there's this new kid named Hunter who I DID NOT like at all. I'm not gonna go in depth of that since that's like a whole lot of spoilers.

Since this is dual points of views, we get to see how the guy and girl feels. Its clearly obvious that they both like each other so happy relationship right? Wrong. There is a love triangle in this book. Half of the story is Chris ans Becca helping each other out, Chris trying to avoid Becca, they're just friends, and Hunter. Yes Hunter is the other part in this love triangle. Relationship wise, there was barely and chemistry between them but I hope to see some development in Spark.

Overall, a fast paced book full of supernatural aspects. I recommend you all read this and I cannot wait to read the sequel with my favorite brother Gabriel in it!
