Synopsis:

Jessica had the nightmares for as long as she can remember. Nightmares of being judged by people who have died, of being branded by the angels. Her friends and family think she's crazy because of it all. Yet she carries the mark of the condemned, seared into the back of her neck, and hides it and herself away from the world.

But when two men she can't ignore enter her life everything changes, including the nightmares. The two of them couldn't be more different. She will do anything to be with one of them. Even tell him the truth about angels, why she never sleeps, and the scar on the back of her neck. But one of the two has set events into motion that will pull her toward her own judgment and turn her into the object of her greatest fear.

Review:

It was surprisingly really good. I went in, knowing nothing about it and now just whoa!

This isn’t any angel book I have ever read before and honestly, the only reason why I read this was because it was free on Amazon. Now I am truly grateful that I have read this because this is amazing.

So the main character, Jessica, has nightmares about angels sentencing her to death but it’s not really her. It’s other people but she’s in there body/place. It sounds confusing but it really isn’t. So because of this the scar on the back of her neck throbs and she doesn’t want to sleep.

Then comes in the love interest, Alex. Alex was a really nice and loyal character and he was just perfect for Jessica.

The pace and the writing of this was good. It wasn’t too fast or slow but a nice normal read.

While this is no love triangle in this, Cole is an interesting character who also happens to be the neighbor of Jessica and he’s mysterious and just shady.

Overall, I do not know what’s gunna happen next and I hope to read the next book soon
