Daemon will do anything to get Katy back.
After the successful but disastrous raid on Mount Weather, he’s facing the impossible. Katy is gone. Taken. Everything becomes about finding her. Taking out anyone who stands in his way? Done. Burning down the whole world to save her? Gladly. Exposing his alien race to the world? With pleasure.
All Katy can do is survive.
Surrounded by enemies, the only way she can come out of this is to adapt. After all, there are sides of Daedalus that don’t seem entirely crazy, but the group’s goals are frightening and the truths they speak even more disturbing. Who are the real bad guys? Daedalus? Mankind? Or the Luxen?
Together, they can face anything.
But the most dangerous foe has been there all along, and when the truths are exposed and the lies come crumbling down, which side will Daemon and Katy be standing on?
And will they even be together?
If you didn’t freak out in the end of this book, YOU READ IT WRONG!
Oh my gosh Jennifer! How can you do this to us! Opal was bad enough but THIS CLIFF-HANGER! The worst part, we have to wait another year for it.
Origin is told is dual point of views, which is amazing because we get to go through Daemon’s thoughts.
So much happened in this book. There’s more action, deaths –yes you heard me, deaths, betrayals, second thoughts, and just shit is happening.
So now that Katy and Daemon are separated, Daemon is doing whatever he can to save Katy. He can’t think straight and all he cares about is her.
There are new characters but my favorite so far is Archer. He seems pretty cool and trustworthy.
The ending will kill you because after you close the book you just sit there confused and then start screaming because of the realization hits you.
Unexpected things happen and shit will go down in the last and final book that comes out very not soon. UGH JEN! WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO US?!
